I'm pretty sure you don't live here... every illegal immigrant that enters England pretty much gets to stay 90% of the time. My tax money goes to housing them, giving them a car, and whatever else they desire. I'm being treated as a second class citizen to illegal immigrants. Please NEVER EVER accuse someone of being racist, when I haven't once mentioned anything that is racist, I take great offence to someone calling me a racist. I am not a racist. I just do not like illegal immigrants entering my country, be it if they are white, brown, black, or green.
Then you have a problem with your nation's social and immigration policies, not with the immigrants.
When you write out posts placing the blame on specific types of people, you are being prejudiced and discriminatory.
Since I can see that you didn't mean that (or at least not anymore), my advice to you is to write more clearly.

My wife and I adore our two MBA 11" 4Gb Ram 64 SSD refurbs, both are awaiting install of a 360 OWC SSD in each, then they will become our main machines:eek:, Mine will share duty with my 1st gen iPad, and hers will share duties with the iPad 2. We so love the size and weight of our iPads, we chose to downsize to the 11"MBA as well.

There shouldn't be any paint on the display... You must've gotten a crappy front panel. I've had several. All had 0 display issues.

With a black bezel, the whitest point of the screen looks like white to your eyes.
With a white bezel, the bezel is the whitest, so white on the LCD never looks white. it usually looks blue or yellow.

It's working great for me locally. Over WAN I cannot say: NO ports seem to be working (even ones I used last week for VNC) which is not EyeTV's fault. I think it's an issue with AT&T DSL. I hope they haven't started blocking something intentionally. I'll try again tomorrow in the hopes that it's fixed. (I can't even traceroute to my home.)

Fact is that FCPX is going to be released in June, but be incomplete. The question is how incomplete. Apple probably doesn't know the answer to that either, which is why they are only giving out details for stuff they are sure about.

Where are those holy souls who claimed that Android was finished when iPhone launched on Verizon. I still see a 7% growth for Android compared to a negligible 0.02% for iPhone. According to a survey, the Thunderbolt is selling more than the iPhone at most of Verizon stores nationwide. :D
They *are* finished. Fragmandroid sunk into generic Wintel land when Google decided to screw over the user by licensing out their OS to anyone and everyone. If you don't give a **** about your product and have a fundamental disrespect for the average user, you adopt a horizontal business model because you lack the talent, skill, drive - you name it - to make your own hardware. It takes balls. When you have no real talent, you take the lazy way out, claim greater market share and stand with the likes os Dell, Acer, MS, whatever.
The result: generic OS running on generic phones.
And the consequences are beginning to show. Fragmentation writ large. Last call at the "but it's open!" party being over hours ago, everyone's beginning to wake up to the real headache that Android is.

and to the other guy, I think it's perfectly legitimate to announce a new MBP enclosure with a DL superdrive at the WWDC. I mean it's the pro model laptop. Developers would definitely be using it. And they can burn things faster! :D

They also give a higher percentage of their own wealth to charity. I like reading some of these magazines on my iPad. I like the feeling that I am doing something good for the environment, my own little way of saving a tree or two. But paying full cover price makes me feel like I'm being ripped off by the publisher, who didn't have to pay the costs of stock, printing and delivery of the news stand issues. And they want me to punish me and not provide me a realistic subscription price because Apple want their 30% for hosting and distribution? Nay nay I say!
