is it possible to hook up the ipad2 to your car and play music off of it? if so, what do i need in order to. thanks
If your car has an AUX input jack on it. If so, connect a cable from your headphone out to AUX in.
If your car has a USB port on it, connect your 30pin to USB connector.
If your car is older and you see neither, you can open up your car stereo to gain access to the rear of the unit and sii if there is a AUX in port there that is just not connected. you can connect a cable to it and snake it out.

You haven't done anything though...you took the Colbert Report version of it and put Jerk It Out over top of it, which was the original version (http://digg.com/videos_comedy/Colbert_Green_Screen_Challenge_iPod_Ad_YMNTD) done six weeks ago by the submitter. (Apparently the folks at The Colbert Report couldn't get permission to use Jerk It Out, so they changed the tune.)

will it play doom?
You have to wait for Linux to be available for it.

It's really easier than you might think. Just set up the groups, set up the share points in Shared Items (don't actually SHARE them) then assign the permissions. Know though that "read/write" will not work properly for your needs. ACL's must be set to "full control".

The front protector isn't in the best position. If I were to use scotch tape like the directions say should I have an issue with it sticking again?

Odds are it's completely gone. Reinstalling usually involves a reformat and/or overwriting of existing data.

Today I connected my iPhone 4 to my Bose speaker that has a specific connection for iPhone, and to my surprise I started getting pop ups to dismiss saying that the device is not compatible. I continued trying until it started to play the music. This was not happening with my iPhone 3gs or recent iPod Touch. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I thought the iPhone 4 was updated and more compatible to issues like these.

can't be arsed is a pretty common saying over here and simply means cannot be bothered. Invariably there are more sayings to describe apathy and laziness because they seem to come to us more readily!

Hi, Im a collage student who is taking the plunge and buying a mac in the summer when i get the money. By then i will already own an iPad 2 so the portability doesn't really bother me. But was looking for a good computer to have for things that aren't that great on the iPad (i.e. essay writing). I don't own any other the things expected to be with a mac mini (keyboard, mouse).
Anybody owned both and have a preference or can recommend either a mac mini or macbook. :):)

I'm guessing $50 for a single person and $80 for a family pack. What are your guesses and why?

yeah, I agree, that's BS.....not every one wants the latest and greatest thing. There are some (me) that do, but the majority will buy what they "need" at the present time.

Which means buy one soon!
I don't have an iPhone, but I have read that the Flip's quality isn't as good. However I bought one and use it to record my lectures. 60-90 minutes long and indoor lighting. It works fine and my writing on the white board comes out clear.
What is nice about it is that it is trivially easy to use (in my case I even screw it on to a small tripod) and extracting the videos and recharging are easy as well. It's a camera I don't have to think about, which is great for my application.
I hate to see them go as I know that any replacement camera will cost me much more. I might actually run out and buy another as a "spare".

There is TuneIn Radio on the App Store for $1.99
It has over thousands of FM and AM radio stations all over the world.
Doesnt it take wifi?

Keep in mind that Lion is only in developer preview right now. Which means programs that don't work right now could end up working just fine later. Unless you've heard or read something like "Application X will not be supported in Lion" (a good example is Blizzard announcing that some of its older games won't be supported), it might still end up working.

I would recommend the Treo, it also serves as a mobile phone. Very nice, has bluetooth, camera that makes movies, HD screen, good stuff...
But of course it is also a phone so it might not be exactly what she is looking for.

Hi all-
I'm attempting to reformat an external drive that was once in my old Windows machine- I have no problem reading file on the drive, but it as marked as read-only and will not let me write/delete. I would love to reformat this drive at some point and find a better use for it, and any advice on how to fix it would be wonderful. Thanks!

Yah. Cutting mat, steel rule and a really sharp blade. Start and end your cut along both long edges inside the edge of the paper, then rotate 90 and cut through on the other edges.

Besides the bridged mode, I imagine if you use the Airport Express normally to extend a wireless network, the USB printer should work.
