Do you have pictures? Curious about the refinish! How much did it cost you to do?

In your situation, I'd hire an engineer to professionally downsample to 48khz/24bit. It's fast and easy for most of them. If you made these LP transfers yourself though, you already have the software to do this. Make a new session and set it at 48k/24bit. Then import your 96k files. Export as WAV or AIFF 48k/24....
Then import to iTunes and convert to lossless, or high rate AAC...but at the 48k custom iTunes setting.
No worries

Bad in that the stuff that is encouraging people to move over is the angry bird type games and that it appears to make the more in depth stuff isn't as profitable. So in the long run we may not see as many games come out that are profitable.
Well, when you have people complaining about the price of 2 euro games, then you know the market is just a rush to the bottom. Simple games that can be quickly and cheaply made; with very little depth. I prefer longer, more involved gameplay too, but who's going to make those games with the price point so low?
Already it is sad when you look at the console market a lot of games are just games based on popular movies and not much innovation (cause the games based on the movies make the money and stuff like Okami and more innovative stuff gets ignored). I remember when I was reading an article complaining about how that was the trend in games (it happened to movies too once blockbusters came out. Movie studios were more interested in making blockbusters than unique movies, basically finding a formula that worked and sticking with it rather than trying anything different).
I agree, it's the same thing. If you want to make a big game (or movie), you need lots of money. That means you need an investor - whose motivation is making a profit. To make a profit you then have to sell a lot of copies, so the game has to be mainstream. It has to be low-risk, so will stick to conventional, proven game-types. Great for investors, boring and predictable for gamers.

Uhhh... The USS Missouri (BB-11) was commissioned in 1900 and decommissioned in 1919. She was part of the Great White Fleet, and had her cage masts fitted somewhere around 1909.
Ship's names get reused, y'know. I'm not talking about the Missouri you're thinking of.
;)

Have a looksie:
Well, I stand corrected. Not too familiar with ships that old. I've only deployed on 11 of them! :)

@lostngone Sorry, you are completely wrong. This is strictly IMEI based. Nothing like the gevey SIM at all.

I managed to get it working on my new 27" iMac by editing a system file to fool Steam into believing that you are running 10.6.7 - I believe the 10.6.7 requirement is because of new ATI graphics drivers that were bundled with that release and therefore this is quite safe (as the 10.6.6 build on the new iMacs obviously has the drivers for the machine).
I've posted the full details at http://bendodson.com/weblog/2011/05/04/portal-2-on-the-new-imac-10-6-6/ but basically you need to change the SystemVersion.plist file in your /System/Library/CoreServices/ directory so that the two references to 10.6.6 are changed to 10.6.7 - Steam will still complain but when you say "continue anyway" it'll actually run.
Enjoy!

Looks good! Only thing I'm not fond of are the bigger avatars (although I will be making mine bigger to fit in), the huge text capabilities (I think this will be abused) and the different colored smilies. But that's just IMHO! ;) The rest of it looks great. Good job!

I just leave it open with the window closed so that all I see is the icon in the dock with a little arrow under it. If new mail comes, I get a pop sound and a highlighted number on the mail icon. It works really well and uses up practically no resources. :)

I went into the Irvine Spectrum store last Thursday and they had 32gigs. Picked one up on the spot. Best Buy and Radio Shack are still waiting for theirs.
Mission Viejo had 32's and 16's. I got mine a few days ago. :D I was surprised at how many they got because At least 10 people were in line ahead of me.

The catch? they will be folding (http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_summary.php?s=&u=29051) for me!

Freinds ?
I'll hope I have still freinds in this forum. Or is the word freind patented now that I cannot have freinds anymore?

This is the cheapest weighted keyboard that I know of.
I bought this keyboard for the sound booths at our college and I've been really happy with it. It's obviously not a full keyboard, but it's got enough to make it really useful and it also works seamless with Macs, truly plug-and-play. Logic has no trouble recognizing it.
As for speakers, I got the Bose Companion and have been very happy with it. It's not cheap ($300) but IMO it's worth every penny.

Individual files can only be 4 gig in size. The partition itself can be much larger
So, does this mean that I can transfer files that are 4GB or less at once into the FAT32? Assuming as an example I have a 20GB video, I wont be able to transfer it into the FAT32, right?
And also, I wanna ask: does it mean that while in Windows 7, i put my files into the FAT32, and then boot into OS X and retrieve it from the FAT32? And this works vice versa, right?
One more thing, files on FAT32 can be read/written by both Windows 7 AND OS X?

i think it would be great if apple made it easy for others to make their own storefront within the apple itunes store.
i.e. Indie labels could set up within the online store and use the DRM...
the goal is to provide more content to consumers without destroying the experience.
